Young marine enthusiasts will be captivated by a week of fun and exploration! We are excited to introduce a newly renovated summer camp program in 2017. In addition to offering our regular age group camps, we will be alternating theme topics and activities on odd and even camp weeks. This will give you the option to choose multiple weeks of participation in camps while allowing your child(ren) to experience different activities with multiple week attendance. Fieldtrips will remain consistent on a weekly basis and include Gulfport beach, Ship Island, Shrimp boat tour, Splash pad, pontoon boat cruise, Kayaking, Fishing, & Dolphin photo ID trips each dependent upon the age appropriate class. After a successful first-run of "Dolphin Camp" for ages 15-17, we are pleased to continue offering this camp for older students interested in marine science. New to this program will be the inclusion of a hands on experience where you will have the opportunity to touch one of our resident dolphins. Space is limited, so register early to guarantee a place in camp. Age 5 campers will also be adding an additional fieldtrip which will take them on a pontoon boat ride where they will explore local plants and animals. 2017 also brings the introduction of an Angler Fishing camp for ages 8-9, 10-12, and 13-14 to summer camp. This camp is geared to campers interested in fishing. Students will learn about the different types of fish living in our waters, how to throw a cast net, how to string & rig a fishing pole, and of course do lots of fishing. Fishing fieldtrips will include our pontoon boat, Gulfport beach, and Ship Island.
